Glasshaus is a versatile space in Paarl, Cape Town - available for rent seven days a week, between 08:00 and 17:00. (after hours available)
We cater to once-off shoots and intimate events, as well as offer monthly memberships for those wishing to rent the space on a weekly basis for wellness classes / workshops. Or check out our Loyalty Program for vip perks!

What is included in the rate?You’re welcome to use all the furniture, curtains, and décor available in our studio. Feel free to bring in your own items to match your shoot vision! Furniture pieces from Schonn Furniture includes: 4 x occasional chairs 3 x seated chairs 1 x ottoman 1 x cloud couch 2 x standing mirrors 4 x coffee tables Photography props include: 1 x backdrop stand 1 x 2.8x3m woven fabric white backdrop 1 x 12inch ring light 1 x USB Plug 1 x Extension Lead We kindly ask that you handle everything with care. A cleaning fee starting from R500 per item / breakage fee starting from R1500 may apply if the space isn’t left in the same condition it was received.

How big is the space?The interior of the Glasshaus Studio Rental space is 70-80m², complemented by a tiny courtyard covered with lush greenery; perfect for additional shooting or event setups. There is an office space of 20m² - should you want to use this area for setup, please consult with us.

Is there a kitchen available? Can I bring my own Catering?There is no kitchen available for use. Please bring in your own catering - food/drinks & crockery/glassware. For food and drinks, Fleet Coffee, located on the premises in the same courtyard, is happy to assist with your coffee needs. You can contact us for their details.

Do you have photographers on-site?Our bookings does not include any cameras or photographers. We’ve compiled a list of trusted suppliers we recommend. Feel free to reach out to them for photography or event services. Our in-house photographer for portrait shoots: Marguerite from MOY Photography.

Is there secure parking on the premises?Yes, we offer 12 parking spots behind a secure gate. There’s also street parking available on a nearby side road.

Do you offer setup & cleaning?Setup and breakdown are to be completed within the time frame you’ve booked. If you’d like to set up earlier, please book additional hours. We kindly ask that you leave the space in the same condition as you found it. Our cleaning staff will take care of basic cleaning, such as the floors afterwards.
